Here are my photos for yesterday (Sunday) and today. One is of the main lobby of the JSMB. The other shows a quick view of the constant summer wedding chaos around Temple Square. It's neat to see all these weddings, but I'm ready for rain and snow to come and shoo most of these people away. They get in the way of my pictures.
Just tell them to all go get married in Vegas and leave you natives alone. ha ha!

It was always funny in the summers to give tours of Temple Square, and talk about how couples can be married in the temple, and without fail we would see 2 or 3 (or 4 or 5) brides walking past at that exact moment. It always made the tourists laugh. (...except for the ones who wanted to know if Mormons got married in mass ceremonies. Yup, 7 brides and grooms at a time! We just line 'em up like an assembly line!)
ReplyDeleteThe JSMB is such a gorgeous building. Sometimes I'd have a hard time paying attention in Sacrament meeting because I was looking at all the beauty.
